Yoga Nidra with Yogi Marc Titus
Marc will guide you through the Ancient Science and experience of Yogic Sleep, or Yoga Nidra. All you need to do is lie down comfortably and follow the guided meditation. 🙂
Using a series of components, mindfulness practices that are strung together to achieve the purpose of deep relaxation and letting go, you will experience a profound sense of peace and relaxation. This allows energy to flow and the body, mind and Spirit to function in harmony, providing deep physical, emotional and mental healing. Bring an intention; something you would like to see improve in your life, as during the practice we will use this Sankalpa, or intention to facilitate rapid transformation in your life!
It is a wonderful experience and research has shown that as little as 10 sessions of Yoga Nidra physiological changes in the brain have occurred!!!! The amygdala shrinks, the frontal lobe and the hippocampus are strengthened. Translate… less emotional reactivity and greater resiliency and as the amygdala shrinks, so too do triggers!

Marc has studied and taught yoga in a wide variety of settings for nearly 2 decades after finding yoga to heal himself from what Dr’s said would surely be a lifetime debilitation. Yoga has been a steady friend over the years, providing Marc with the tools to manage some of life’s unique challenges and circumstances.
After studying with key teachers Yogi Amrit Desai, Mark Whitwell, Rod Stryker & Pandit Rajmani Tigunait, Marc continues to overcome PTSD from his career as a Wildland Firefighter. He is an advocate for and teacher of Yoga. Annually, he facilitates a Yoga for PTSD Teacher Training at the Sedona Yoga Festival that he and his wife Heather co-create annually while running a yoga studio in Sedona, Arizona.
