A slow, meditative practice that emphasizes being over doing. This class consists of gentle movements and stretches to affect the deeper layers of muscles and connective tissue, and restorative poses that are held for extended periods of time, using supporting props and gravity. Awareness of the breath will serve as a bridge between body and mind. The intention of this practice is to restore physical ease and freedom, soothe the mind, and calm the nervous system.
