Perhaps the essence of divinity itself residing in our hearts; that incredible high we feel when in the zone. It is life force itself and its creative power is a force to reckon! and yet, most spend very little time in this state of being. It is elusive, yet available to all and when actively cultivated life begins to effortlessly flow. Activity becomes Dharma… Service in Action and as the consciousness expands & evolves we become more aligned with it, more often. We may truly allow our purpose to shine, and that… is a good thing!

Yoga Teacher & Aumbase Adventures Lead Guide

Marc has studied and taught yoga in a wide variety of settings for nearly 2 decades after finding yoga to heal himself from what doctors said would surely be a lifetime debilitation.  Yoga has been a steady friend over the years, providing Marc with the tools to manage some unique challenges and circumstances.

After studying with key teachers Gurudev Yogi Amrit Desai, Mark Whitwell, Yogarupa Rod Stryker, Pandit Rajmani Tigunait and Steve Ross, Marc continues to overcome PTSD from his career as a Wildland Firefighter. He now focuses on sharing what he has received in the form of these ancient and lineaged teachings and practices.

Marc is Certified Level 2 Integrative Amrit Method of Yoga Nidra Facilitator and Certified Hatha Yoga Teacher.

He is an advocate for Trauma-Informed Yoga and annually sponsors a Yoga for PTSD Teacher Training at SYF, a consciousness evolution conference.

Marc founded the Sedona Yoga Festival in 2012; currently he and his wife, Heather not only produce and direct the annual pilgrimage, but own and operate Aumbase Sedona, a Center for Consciousness Evolution and Aumbase Adventures featuring guided Yoga Hikes on the Sedona Landscape.

Marc will draw from his ample toolbox and decade of practicing in the Sedona energy to provide you with an Aumbase Adventure of your dreams… He will intersperse asana, pranayama, meditation and Yoga Nidra throughout your hike for an AUMazing experience you will always remember.  You will create an indelible touchstone in the very depths of your soul… that you may return to again and again.

The What: A keen interest in intelligent sequencing is the thread that moves through a practice layered with breathwork, asana, mantra, visualization, contemplation and meditation. An intuitive sense of the channels of the physical and pranic body, a compassionate sense of the mental and energetic state of the room, and a commitment to refining and purifying my intuitive body leads to a class designed for those who show up on the mat that day, and is always instructed in a way that is open to all levels – can be as challenging as you are willing to make it, and as simple as linking the breath and the body…

The Intention: For students to develop their own home practice by providing snackable takeaways and to experience the profound power of the science of yoga by the skillful means provided to me through my teachers so that the intention to commit to the practice grows in the hearts and minds of each student. Help you discover your inner guru and awaken your unique yoga.

The How: 200 hour 2010 with Open Source Yoga: Daniel Clement (Ashtanga Vinyasa) and Elissa Gumushel (Anusara) in BC, Canada. Currently completing 300 hours training with Parayoga (200 hours complete) for 500 hour. Influences: Tibetan Buddhism, Jeet Kun Do, Anusara, Jivamukti, Heart of Yoga, Sri Vidya, Trainings: ChildLight, Anusara, Prison Yoga Project, ParaYoga and my daily practice of Yoga.

The Who: Heather runs Aumbase, inc together with spouse, beloved Marc Titus. Creating platforms and nurturing relationships that facilitate awakening yoga is the mission. Namaste

Yoga Nidra Is a guided meditation practice that uses a series of body, breath and mindfulness techniques to relax ‘past’ thoughts and the tendencies of the mind. This allows the body to restore balance… So important for optimal health, wellness, vitality and clarity!
